At Salon Modish, our goal is to enhance the health and manageability of your hair.
Our courteous stylists are passionate and receive ongoing education and training. They take pride in their ever evolving skills and love sharing their up to date knowledge with their clients so they are confident in recreating their salon styles at home.

Lauren
OWNER
Originally a CA native, Lauren spent her youth in MA. Eventually, Lauren made her way down south as a freshman at USC in Columbia, SC. With a passion for people and art, Lauren studied psychology, exercise science, and nursing. After a a short time at the university, Lauren realized she had a creative interest in cosmetology and wholly committed to pursuing education in that field. Shortly after graduating in 2010, she and her beau (now husband), moved to Bluffton and have been loving the Low Country lifestyle and creating new looks for their clients ever since! Lauren specializes in creating natural looking hair color and detailed, easy to style and wear haircuts.

OWNER
Raised in SC, Amir moved to the Bluffton area to pursue a career in the golf industry and studied at PGCC. After years of admiring his wife’s passion and dedication to the beauty industry, Amir joined his wife in the industry and has been enjoying it ever since! As a natural-born perfectionist, Amir strives to make every clients experience in his chair a unique, creative and positive encounter.

STYLIST
Teresa is a multitalented artist. After 25 years Teresa has retired from being a nail technician and is fully focused on her hair artistry, a path she has been on since 2015. She is strong in all areas of hairdressing but especially shines in bringing dark hair light healthily and making short womens haircuts soft, feminine and modern!

STYLIST
Kim is passionate about helping people feel confident, refreshed and truly cared for every time they sit in her chair. With an extensive background in customer service, she believes that a great salon experience is just as much about connection and comfort as it is about the final look. She loves taking the time to listen, understand your style, and bring your vision to life while making sure you feel relaxed and valued throughout your visit. Outside the salon, she is proud to give back to the community by volunteering with the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) as part of the Glam Squad for their annual Dancing With Our Stars fundraising event. It’s incredibly meaningful for her to be able to use her skills to support such an important cause. She can’t wait to have you in her chair!
Although salon ownership was a new concept to the Ajlani’s, their combined salon experience made them eager and confident that they could successfully run their own full-service salon. Thus, in 2020 they began to look for ownership opportunities within their community. Although the pandemic was in full swing at the time, they were able to form an incredible team of like-minded individuals! With customer service of paramount importance, the salon truly fosters what a team environment should be. From the moment one enters the salon, the goal of the team is to make them feel welcomed, relaxed and heard. The team prides themselves on listening intently to each person’s hair experiences both past and present. Our goal is to make your hair the best and most manageable it can be. We look forward to continuing to build a strong team of talented, gracious stylists who enjoy living, working and contributing to their community!
